About Me
WELCOME!

Hello there!
My name is Kaixia. I’m currently a second year student at the University of California, Irvine. I am double majoring in Psychology & Social Behavior and Criminology. Fun facts about myself: I was in a school band for two years and I played guitar. I love dogs, and I have a poodle at home.
Welcome to my eprofolio of Writing 39B! In this profolio, I showcase the papers and project I have done in this course and most importantly, my improvements as a writer. Let's begin, enjoy!

What is Writing 39B?
Writing 39B focuses on critical reading & rhetoric. As the first of two lower-division writing requirements, WR 39B is designed to teach you a methodology for critical reading and to give you ample practice at writing analytical essays for an academic audience. In this course, we're going to be thinking about, discussing, and writing about the genre of modern horror. The horror genre is a broad and complicated topic that serves as an excellent foundation for discussing the basics of rhetoric -- how audiences are affected and persuaded.

The three major projects of this course are the Rhetorical Analysis Paper (RA), the RIP Project, and the Final Reflection Essay, which can be accessed by clicking on the buttons below.
